KABBALAT SHABBAT
Each Friday afternoon, one edah (age division) will lead the camp in song, dance, and blessings for Kabbalat Shabbat. Guests are invited to join us.
MACHANEHMONDAY
Chanichim (campers) are invited to wear their favorite piece of Ramah swag – camp shirts, socks, hats, etc- each Monday to show off their pride for their machaneh (camp)!
TIYYULIM (TRIPS)
Throughout the summer, campers enjoy exciting trips tailored to their age group. Younger campers take fun day trips to local attractions, while older campers participate in adventure-filled excursions, overnight experiences, and outdoor activities designed to challenge and inspire them
Our oldest campers, Etgar (current 6th and 7th graders), take weekly trips out of camp and participate in meaningful Tikkun Olam projects, as well as explore another city on a two-night, three-day adventure.
YOM YISRAEL
On one of our biggest program days of the kayitz, chanichim (campers) celebrate Israel in style, wearing blue and white! They’ll embark on an exciting ‘airplane’ journey, visiting different locations across Israel, all thoughtfully planned by our amazing shlichim (Israeli staff) and leadership staff.
MACCABIAH
Our multi-day Color War is a highlight of the summer, bringing together chanichim (campers) and tzevet (staff) in a spirited, healthy competition full of ruach. Campers are divided into teams and earn points through fun-filled challenges, showing great sportsmanship, trying new activities, and cheering on their teammates every step of the way.
MISCELLANEOUS YAMIM (DAYS)
Any given summer also has special days such as Yom Kova (hat day), Yom Balagan (crazy day), and other wacky and fun ways to celebrate being at camp!
